These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the cloud-based authentication services ("Services") provided by [Passlock] ("Company"). By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please refrain from using our Services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms. If you are using our Services on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Service Description

Our Services provide software developers with cloud-based strong authentication, using WebAuthn credentials (including passkeys) along with other authentication factors.

3. Limitation of Liability

The Company shall not be liable for any breaches, unauthorized access, or any other security incidents that may occur while using our Services. You understand and agree that:

  • a) Security risks: While we take reasonable security measures to protect your data and ensure the security of our Services, no system can be completely secure. You use our Services at your own risk.
  • b) Data privacy: We respect your data privacy and will handle your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. However, we cannot guarantee the security of your data or the prevention of data breaches.
  • c) No Warranty: The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." The Company makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • d) Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of the Services.
  • e) Exclusion of Consequential and Incidental Damages: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, even if the Company has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

4. Service Interruptions

The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Services. We may need to perform maintenance or updates, which may temporarily disrupt access to the Services. We shall not be liable for any such interruptions.

5. Termination

The Company reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Services at any time for any reason, without notice.

6. Changes to Terms

The Company may update or change these Terms at any time, and such changes will be effective immediately upon posting. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
